Are You Trapped in Comparison Despair?
Do you ever find yourself falling into the comparison trap? You know the one — where you scroll through social media, attend an event, or hear your colleagues talk about their big wins and end up feeling like who you isn’t enough? Let me remind you: Who you are is enough exactly as you are RIGHT NOW! But that’s not the main focus of today’s message. Instead, let’s dive into overcoming comparison despair so I can share with you about this common struggle, and strategies to overcome it and embrace your unique journey.
The Truth About Comparison
The saying “comparison is the thief of joy” is not just a catchy phrase; it’s a powerful truth. Comparison is one of the lowest vibrational states we can experience. It’s natural to feel tempted to measure ourselves against others, but both jealousy and comparison can drag us into a low-energy state. And this state doesn’t serve our well-being or growth.
When I find myself succumbing to the temptation to compare, I have a go-to, 3 step strategy that helps me snap out of it quickly.
The Quickest Hack to Overcome Comparison
I’ve created a video just for you, sharing a life-changing hack to kill comparison for good. Here’s the essence of what I’ve learned:
- Acknowledge Your Divine Calling: Every one of us has a unique divine calling and destiny. What others are achieving or experiencing is irrelevant to who YOU were born to be.
- Stay Focused on Your Path: Whether someone else is winning, accelerating, or getting recognized doesn’t affect your true purpose. These external factors have zero impact on who you were created to be and what you are meant to do in this beautiful life.
- Avoid Distractions: The only way comparison can impact you is if you allow it to distract you from your own path and potential. Don’t let what others are doing pull you away from who you are meant to become.
Compete with Yourself, Not Others
Before you compare yourself to others, always remember that you are more than enough just as you are. The only person you should ever compete with is who you were yesterday. Focus on your personal growth, the person you are becoming, and your own potential to fully realize who you were created to be.
Try shifting your focus from comparing yourself to others instead to competing with your past self and striving towards your own potential. You will cultivate a sense of fulfillment and joy that comparison can never provide!
